Dr. Jaclyn Andrews grew up in Strongsville, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2001. Dr. Andrews graduated from Ross University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Andrews enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine. She has a special interest in small animal surgery. Dr. Andrews and her husband, John, who is also a veterinarian, have two cats, Mutchka and Princess Pandora and a dog, Kelly. She enjoys running, hiking, canoeing and spending time remodeling their home.
Dr. Bob Baugher is from Southington, Ohio and is proud to be a Chalker High School graduate. He completed his undergraduate collegiate studies at The Ohio State University and graduated in 1992 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Baugher's interests are in large animal veterinary medicine. Dr. Baugher and his wife Ragine live in Southington and have four children; Hallie, Brendan, Sara, and Emma. They also have a dog named Bo and two cats named Ashley and Punkin. Dr. Bob enjoys working on his family's hay and grain farm and helping out and watching his children in their church and school activities.
Dr. Jeff Clayton is from nearby Willoughby Hills, Ohio. He attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, graduating in 1999. Dr. Clayton received his degree in Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2005. Dr. Clayton has a special interest in exotic, avian and wildlife medicine. He also enjoys small animal general and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Clayton and his wife, Amy, have a son, Will, daughter, Lillie and 3 dogs. He enjoys fishing, photography, birdwatching, sports, gardening, and shooting.
Dr. Jenny Dunlap, formerly Dr. Jenny Hardesty, is from nearby West Farmington, Ohio. She attended Hiram College from 2000-2004 and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2008 from Texas A&M University. Dr. Dunlap has interests in both large and small animal veterinary medicine. Her particular interests in large animal medicine are with small ruminants, including alpacas, deer, goats and sheep. Dr. Dunlap enjoys sharing in the special bond people have with their pets. Dr. Dunlap lives on a farm in West Farmington with her husband, Chase Dunlap, three dogs, three cats, multiple chickens, one horse and beef cattle. She enjoys gardening, working on her family’s farm and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Elaina Edgar is originally from Mecca, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2006. Dr. Edgar also attended The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She has an interest in small animal surgery (soft tissue and orthopedic) and theriogenology. Dr. Edgar and her husband, Charles, live in Howland with their three cats, Carmen, Linux, and Mavis. She enjoys camping, swimming, riding bicycles, knitting, and working on her vegetable garden.
Dr. Bryan Elliott is originally from Dorset, Ohio. He attended the University of Findlay before heading to The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Elliott earned his veterinary degree in 2006 and has a special interest in large animal medicine, especially Equine medicine and reproduction. Dr. Elliott and his wife, Jamie have one dog and one cat. He enjoys raising beef cattle, hunting and fishing.
Dr. Holly Evans grew up in Southington, Ohio. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Kent State University. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2006. Dr. Evans enjoys all facets of small animal medicine and surgery and has 2 beagles named Sammy and Daisy. Dr. Evans enjoys gardening, camping, and traveling.
Dr. Alan Knott grew up in Bluffton, Ohio. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, with a major in Animal Science from The Ohio State University in 2002. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2006. Dr. Knott enjoys all facets of veterinary medicine including both large and small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Knott has been married to his wife, Dr. Lisa Knott, since July of 2006 and together have a daughter, son and a little Chichihua named Holly. Dr. Knott enjoys working outdoors, landscaping, gardening, woodworking, visiting family (both in Ohio and New York), cheering on all Buckeye Sports, and visits to Cape Cod.
Dr. Lisa Knott is originally from Burnt Hills, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 2002. She attended Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, receiving her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine in 2006. Dr. Knott enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Knott and her husband, Dr. Alan Knott, have a daughter, son, and a 2 ½ pound Long-Haired Chihuahua named Holly. Dr. Knott enjoys running, gardening and scrapbooking.
Dr. Jeff Lanz grew up in Litchfield, Ohio in Medina County. He graduated from the University of Akron in 1989 and received his degree in Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1995. Dr Lanz enjoys small animal internal medicine and surgery with a special interest in feline medicine. Dr. Lanz and his wife Darlene have four children, Nicholas, Noah, Devan and Jayde. They have one dog, Leah, a Goldendoodle, and two rabbits, Bleeble and Grady. Dr. Lanz and his family enjoy bicycling, hiking and camping as well as computers and technology.
Dr. Toni Longville is from Akron, Ohio. She attended the University of Akron before heading to Columbus to attend veterinary school at The Ohio State University. Dr. Longville received her Veterinary degree in 2007. She enjoys small animal medicine with a special interest in dermatology, cytology and microbiology. Dr. Longville has three older sisters, one niece and two nephews. She also has two dogs, Isis, who is a canine blood donor, and Thumper, her three-legged dog. Dr. Longville enjoys gardening, cooking, home improvement projects, as well as spending time with family and friends at her parent’s llama farm.
Dr. Dennis Summers and his wife, Angie, both grew up in Muskingum County, Ohio and have been married for 8 years. They have a daughter Emerson, age 6, and twins Deryn and Lynden, both 2 years old. Dennis and his wife both graduated with Bachelor’s degrees from The Ohio State University in 2001, and Dennis completed his DVM from Ohio State in 2006. Dr. Summers brings a wealth of experience to CVS having practiced previously in Ohio and in New England. Dr. Summers’ is heavily experienced in large animal medicine and surgery, and enjoys working with companion animals as well. His greatest pride is his family, which he enjoys spending time with whenever possible. They enjoy many outdoor activities such as camping, swimming at the beach, hunting, golfing, and motorcycle riding, and spending time with their two Boxers, Beau and Brewster.
Dr. Ted Ramsey is originally from Brookville, Ohio, a small town west of Dayton. He attended The Ohio State University from 1986-1993, graduating with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Dr. Ramsey enjoys the “James Herriot” variety in veterinary medicine and also has a special interest in soft tissue surgery. Dr. Ramsey and his wife, Lisa, have a daughter Jordan, two dogs and three cats. He enjoys fishing, hunting and camping as well as habitat management for wildlife.
Dr. Logan Strohm is originally from Bristolville, Ohio. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Ohio University in 2003 and went on to attend veterinary school at The Ohio State University, graduating in 2010. Dr. Strohm’s interests include both large and small animal medicine, and he has a specific interest in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Strohm and his wife, Jennifer, have a daughter, Elliott, and a son, Lincoln. They also have an English Mastiff named Molson, and two cats, Gus and Bitsy. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, and golfing.
Dr. Deb Williams is originally from Arlington, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University from 1976-1979. She also attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University, graduating in 1983. Dr. Deb enjoys small animal medicine and surgery as well as embryo transfer in cattle. Dr. Deb’s husband is Dr. Jeff Williams. Their daughter, Claire, is a nursing major and their daughter, Chloe, hopes to someday become a veterinarian as well. Dr. Deb has 1 dog, 8 cats, 1 rabbit, 2 ducks, 3 fish and a herd of beef cattle (crossbreds and Belgian Blues). Dr. Deb enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She is a NWS Skywarn Spotter, enjoys vegetable and flower gardening and is the music programmer for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Girard, Ohio.
Dr. Jeff Williams grew up in Akron, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Nutrition from The Ohio State University in 1977. He graduated from The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Williams enjoys ophthalmology, theriogenology, nutrition, and alternative homeopathic medicine. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 26 years, Dr. Deb Williams, and their two daughters, Claire and Chloe. Dr. Williams also enjoys sail boating and raising grass fed beef cattle.
Dr. Slawienski is a native of Buffalo, New York. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Cornell University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 1992. He completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and trained as a resident in veterinary surgeon at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1999. Dr. Mike practiced at Associated Veterinary Specialists in St. Louis before moving to Ohio with his family in 2004. He has provided soft tissue, neurologic and orthopedic specialty surgeries for patients of veterinary hospitals in Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas since that time. Dr. Mike is an avid homebrewer and as a BJCP certified judge has judged beer competitions nationally and abroad. Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his three young wonderful children and his wife. Dr. Slawienski has a sweet one-eyed pug named Boty and a very mischievous cat named Shadow.
Dr. Boddy graduated from The Ohio State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Masters of Science (MS) in cardiovascular physiology in 2001. In 2002 she finished a 1 year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Med Vet in Columbus Ohio and in 2004 completed a Cardiology Residency at the University Of Pennsylvania College Of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In the summer of 2006 Dr. Boddy completed the board certification process and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM) in the subspecialty of cardiology. Dr. Kirstin has been working in the Northeastern Ohio and Northwestern Pennsylvania regions since the summer of 2004. Dr. Kirstin, her husband Matt and their daughter Kori live in Northeast Ohio and spend their off time in the Outer Banks fishing or hanging with the teens at Pine Lake Christian Church.
